Chairman, Alkhair Capital (Dubai)

With over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, Mr. Khalid has held senior positions in leading financial institutions in Saudi Arabia, including Samba group and Arabian Capital . He is specialized in Business Product Development, Operations, Correspondent Banking, Brokerage, Asset Management and Investment Banking. Mr. Khalid has demonstrated his proven record of success in streamlining business processes. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Central State University.

Benoit Bellerose

Mr. Benoit Bellerose is the Chief Financial Officer of Thimar Al Arabiya, a Saudi conglomerate, and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. He was previously the CFO of Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Company, in Saudi Arabia and before that, he was Vice President Finance and Control for MCI/WorldCom’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has also held various financial positions in Canada, Brazil, Western and Eastern Europe.

Mr. Benoit holds a bachelor degree in accounting and finance from Quebec University, Canada and is a certified chartered accountant

Mr. Naveed Aurakzai has more than 15 years of professional experience in Corporate Finance and Treasury and across the industries of Real Estate, Construction, Energy and Manufacturing. He has been advising the board of directors of private and publically listed companies a across Europe, Russia, Middle East and North Africa on achieving their strategic growth objectives. He also led the process of syndicated loans involving global and regional (GCC) banks to fund real estate and other commercial projects. Mr. Aurakzai is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) and has obtained AMCT qualification from Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT, UK). He earned a Master’s degree in Energy Management and a BSc in Mathematics & Computer Science.

Sheikh Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Shubaily

Sheikh Dr. Yousef Abdullah Al Shubaily

Dr. Shubaily is an assistant professor at the Comparative Fiqh (Jurisprudence) Department of the Higher Institute of Judiciary, at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. He is a member of the Saudi Fiqh Association and of the Permanent Committee of Fatwa at Shari’ah Scholar Academy. He also holds a membership of the Shari’ah Committee for auditing the organization of Zakat collection in Saudi Arabia. He has been Shari’ah researcher at the Board of Grievance in 1461H. Dr. Shubaily is also a member of a number of Shari’ah supervisory boards of Islamic financial institutions. He received his doctorate degree from the Department of Comparative Jurisprudence at the Higher Institute of Judiciary at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh (1422H).
